I present you a shaman drum made of wild boar hide. The handle of this drum – which is made of rawhide and tanned leather – designs a sun-cross symbol. ‘Boraz’ the origin of its name carries the main features of this great animal which means : brave, fierce. Wild boar hides are very thick and strong and the completed drum is literally indestructible. The drum produces deep and long lasting resonation if the skin is tensed. This is a large – 72 cm diameter – drum with the weight of 3.8 kg. Therefore i recommend this drum for a strong person, hanged on a gong stand, or it can also be placed on the ground while playing.
