The egg is the symbol of Easter celebration. The connection between the Easter egg and shaman drums is based on the mythological motif of world egg or egg shape cosmos. Shamans in the Altai and Ural region often used this particular drum shape. The egg is a symbol for fertility, rebirth and renewal of nature. The shaman drums similarly to the easter eggs are the miniature models of our microcosmos.

The instrument is custom made and painted with the  personal symbols of the owner.
