Small 14′ inch drum made of a female red-deer hide with amazing natural patterns. I loved working with this drum, because of the meaningful ‘motives’ she revealed to me.
The drum is a mirror of the owner. When you see the colours and shapes on the hide, your subconscious mind will build an entire living world of characters, figures and animals. A story is forming out of the randomness of the surface which gives you the answer for you question – if you are able to ‘see’ with silence.
